Is that really such a good idea? Im capable of pushing my hide beyond your spoting ability, and willing to wait the 10 rounds for that to pass.. it just gets very boring..

Listed the ammount incorrectly (2 gp = 1 dagger, 20 gp = 10 daggers).

Its the only thing I know how to do vs invis right now, so ya guess my guys gonna be doin same actions till invis runs out. Will prolly act in about 10 rounds, since that's duration of invis.

Hm, since he only used three rounds and was probably applying his buffs while doing those, he couldn't have really gone very far. I have a lot of speed and ten rounds to walk through every freaking square I can... Let's do this. :smallamused:

Double moves and Travel Devotion move making for 18 squares of speed each round (36 for two rounds).

Move to K-8 (two up, rest diagonal)

Move to K-4 (all up)

And then use the rest of my speed to cover the entire area described between (and including) the K-8, K-4, P-4 and P-8 squares, plus the Q-4 and Q-5 squares.

End turn in L-8. If no Ryu found, proceed to Rounds 6 and 7...

Let's see if he's in the right... (if it turns out he's actually hiding in the south while I scour both the north and the east-west for him, I'm gonna have to kick myself :smalltongue: )

Move from L-8 to M-9 and then to Q-9 and then to Q-10 (6 squares)

Cover the area described between and including R-10, T-10, T-12 and R-12 (ending at S-12 and using 10 squares of movement)

Move to S-16 and then Q-18 and then Q-20 and then U-20 (13 squares)

Move to V-19 and then X-19 and then W-16 (keeping to the wall, 7 squares)

End turn on W-16. If no Ryu found proceed to Rounds 8 and 9...

Hm. Just realized it really doesn't seem like I'll be able to do west. If my search east-side comes up empty though I can still do the top of the west portion (where he'd likely be anyway), and then there's a tree Godfrey can climb positioned quite handily (just have to make sure he has the turns to climb it, I guess...).

Anyway, move from W-16 to cover the entire area between the wall and the W-11 to W-17 set of squares (and including that same set of squares).

This uses up 12 squares of movement and puts Godfrey at W-11. From there he goes X-11, X-9, and then T-9, T-8 and X-8 (another 12 squares)

Cover the area between the X-7, U-5 diagonal (including it) and the wall, ending turn in U-3 (12 squares once again).

End turn in U-3. If no Ryu found, proceed to Rounds 10 and 11...

Alright, if I still haven't found him he's definetly not east (possibility of him being in one of the squares I skipped though is horridly worrying...)

Move to U-2 then T-3 then T-2 and then P-2 (7 squares)

Move to P-3 and then R-3 and then R-4 and then K-4 (yeah, I know, I inefficiently moved through a bunch of squares I already covered, sue me :smalltongue: ).

That's 11 squares, so now move the K-3 to I-3 and K-2 to I-2 portion (ending at I-2, 7 squares spent)

And then use the rest to cover the area between the E-5 to H-2 diagonal and the wall except for the E-5 square itself (substituting it for D-5, where the turn ends, for 10 squares spent).

End turn on D-5. If no Ryu found then Godfrey better start making retirement plans...

Il specify. That my non change of previous post stands as long as he's not detected. +7 listen might catch something(run is- 20 move silent) also howare you at round 14??? And still invis, it only has a 10 round duration (1min/cl, cl1=1min, at 6seconds/round =10 rounds.)* * you skipped round 12 that's how.

Oh and also, it seems like invisible creatures Move Silently differently? (invisibility listing at the srd says they can move silently at full speed with a -4 penalty only).

Based on your titles you running around the map for 10 rounds, if you find my square since you can't see me still how are you gonna get sneak sttack damage?

If I attack the square you are in while invisible, you are considered flat-footed.

Also, I didn't run as that would be improductive (running is in a straight line, what I did was mark out areas of spcae where you might be and then go through all the squares in those areas).

Yes im flat footed, but it states you need enough visual of the target to spot a vital spot, so you can attack my square, which is a 50% miss chance, and you don't get sneak attack dmg.

Its under total concealment rules, if you have loe, but not los. You can attack the square you think they occupy, but there's a 50% miss chance.

Sure. Didn't you say if you heard Godfrey you'd act before the 10 rounds though? (don't know what you'd do as unless you were able to beat his move silently by 20 you'd only know he was "out there somewhere", which you probably already knew, but if that comes into play a ref should resolve it).

Ya I realized that hees actually in a better position hiding, then if he happened to expose himself to a potential attack while your invis. Do I need to tell you when you run into his square, or if a whole move is invalid?

edit: actually, hang on, checking up on something...

edit 2: Yeah, I thought I still had one turn of Travel, but round 10 was my last one. So the swift move being invalid I guess I'll just substitute it with a 5-foot step to S-2 and then procceed the throw with you having cover (but then also negating the -1 from range increment from my previous attack roll).

That puts my attack at 22 and your AC at 21, unless I'm missing something?

Im standing iin t3 with a kukri.. you move right aaround me bsed on your post. If I had combat refelxes id have like 5 aoos, but I don't so im dead.

My post says "clockwise" (as in, in the other direction than the one you took).

Anyway, I realized I didn't have travel devotion anymore (last turn was my last), so changed that to a 5-foot step closer to you, attacking through cover.

Still same result I suppose, but clarification is always good.

I will review the match (which is a bit messy), then make any rulings/match calls that need to be made.

NOTE: The same move action does not provoke more than one AoO. You get an AoO option the first time the character leaves a square you threaten. After that, even with combat reflexes, no more, unless the character takes a DIFFERENT action that provokes (a second move action, or another provoking action).

Ei. Several minor errors and false assumptions, but I can't see that any of them had any effect, so I'll just list them here for future reference.
Godfrey - can't drink a potion with something in your mouth. You had hands free for swapping, though, so a rewind to fix that wouldn't change anything.
Both - A 300g (i.e. CL3) potion of Invisibility lasts 30 rounds, not 10, but you broke it before that was up, so no matter.
And Ryu would not have cover from that last attack of Godfrey's, since it's a ranged attack. Furthermore, range penalties are -2 per increment, not -1. Again, no effect in the end.

Godfrey takes the victory.
