Internet Steeds

Well, it seems the title grabbed your attention, so lets begin. An Internet Steed is something you envision to be transporting you as you surf the vast expanses of the Internet. Do you have one? They can be anything, from a beast of burden to a streak of lightning to a graphics card that seats six.

I'll start it off, my steed is Montressor, the Three-Faced Horse portrayed in my Avatar.

(I hope this is in the right place, as this is only my second post. Do let me know if I've got the placement wrong)

I was debating whether to post or not but now I have to.

Can't say I really have one. If I did it would just be me as a dragon (either a bronze dragon from D&D, a Red-Eyes Black Dragon from Yu-Gi-Oh, or one of my own creation).

Although I think it might matter what kind of site I was going to. Dealing with anime/manga it might very well be a character in Akira Toriyama style (Crono from Chrono Trigger over Goku though) with phoenix-dragon armor. For these forums it's very definitely a bronze dragon. Elsewhere... who knows.

I envision browsing the internet as being like exploring a cave. You never know what you are going to find around the next corner. Might be amazing, might be horrible. It also gives me a reason to use the word spelunking more often. I guess my steed would be either walking or crawling.

I don't use a steed. I have a sanctum, a small wizard's tower, located in the Silly Message Board Games section of the Playground. Everywhere else in the Playground is within walking distance. In my sanctum there are portals to transport me to other planes of existence.

The internet is kinda Portal-y, honestly. In that it's very easy to get from one place to another, if you're lucky, but there's a decent chance you'll miscalculate and end up plummeting to your death at the bottom of an infinite abyss from which not even light can escape...
