The mysterious phantom post

So, I'm playing a DnD game in this thread (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?p=10885438#post10885438), and replied to one of the DM's posts. Now, it says the thread is unread with me being the last poster, yet my post is mysterious missing.

Any reason why this is?

It happens occasionally, you can see it if you press the reply button and becomes viewable again if someone posts under it.

This has happened to me a lot lately. Does anyone know why it does that?

Sheriff: I do not know why it happens. But I do know that it's a known issue with at least one other thread asking about it on the first page of Board Issues. Just wait until someone else posts and it will automagically appear for you.
