Has anyone ever homebrewed all of the 3.5 spells into the Magic color scheme?

Some work has been done to convert the alignment based spells. And more to convert M:tG spells to D&D.

But why convert the non-alignment based spells to the color scheme?

Players would have a color based on the region/plane they came from and could only cast spells matching their color(s). Kinda surprised no one has done this before.
