Updating a handbook

I just updated a hanbook of mine (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?p=8898058), but the last post on the thread was on February 12th.
How can I proceed about this? I want people to see the updated material, but I can't post in the thread because it would be thread necromancy.
