Hello just a quick question about this spell in BOED. What qualifies as an attack for the purpose of An End to Strife? Obviously stabbing someone or punching them counts but what about,
-Charms
-Conjuration blasts (Would an orb of fire count as an attack or would the orb be "Attacking" and the orb itself would take the damage")
-Conjuration walls (Would damaging someone with a wall of fire count as an attack for the spell?)
-Illusions (Specifically something that targets the person but doesn't really cause "harm" ie microcosm or the one spell that makes you think you are falling)
-Non Lethal Damage
-An End to Strife (The spell deals damage to those that deal damage..... infinite loop great :smalleek:)
-Aoe's/Multitarget spells (Do they count as one or one per each target)

Thanks for the help

Is this the RAW you are looking for?

Attacks
Some spell descriptions refer to attacking. All offensive combat actions, even those that don’t damage opponents are considered attacks. Attempts to turn or rebuke undead count as attacks. All spells that opponents resist with saving throws, that deal damage, or that otherwise harm or hamper subjects are attacks. Spells that summon monsters or other allies are not attacks because the spells themselves don’t harm anyone.

Yes thank you that is what I wanted to know. Okay so it looks like charms, conjuration blasts, nonlethal damage, illusions, an end to strife (great) are all attacks, while summoning walls is not and aoes count as one attack. Thank you for that.
