Limited Actions question

For spells such as Slow and Ray of Dizziness that limit the target to one standard or move action is the target still allowed to take swift or immediate actions? I can't seem to find a conclusive rule that says yes or no. Thanks in advance! :smallsmile:

My gut response was no, but after re-reading things, it seems clear enough to me that targets could indeed take swift actions.

The spell says nothing about inhibiting free actions (such as speech). Complete Arcane (86) says rather explicitly that you can take a swift action anytime you could take a free action.
