Quick Animal Companion question

I'm rolling a PoV goliath druid, taking the racial substitutions from RoS and alternate class feature in UA (monk ac/speed bonus, ranger track/fav enemies), with a wolf. The wolf has 4HD, would that make the wolf Large then because of animal advancement according to the monster manual?

Animal Companions never change size due to HD advancement. They get other bonuses instead. Consult the Drood Animal Companion table (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/classes/druid.htm) for the details of these bonuses.
