You know what? I had a really clever readied action where I activated my healing belt and took a 5-ft step but I must have forgotten about the ongoing fire damage. That takes me to -1. Just need a ref to confirm, then it's good game to you.

i was terrified you were gonna buy two resist energy potions at the start, and nullify jims two attack forms.
as for the readied, can you ready a standard and a 5 foot step? and i see what you were trying to do :smalleek: that could have cornered jim with just a double move then. crud i thought I had worked out a safe spot.
