Yeah, couldn't have stated that clearer...
I'm in the midst of a research project [personal rather than professional] but can't get all that far because I'm 300+ miles to the south and can't get time off work.
My hope is I can find some folks in Aberdeen willing to history it up a bit and find some stuff out about your city and those villages along the Dee in the period around 1880-1900.
Just a few names of the gentry, industrialists and any notable scandles in the area. Titbit details and anything that might make good plot seeds is especially welcome.
If you're interested, i'm working on a mini-campaign setting which i'm going to post in the Homebrew section once it's at least skeletal; I've got plenty of ideas for the supernatural stuff, i need the human element...
