I was interested in this thread (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=197943)(I've experienced a situation similar to the one of Archpaladin Zousha: I've posted a thread for infos, but it waned almost unnoticed, maybe for an unlucky title, and I let it die without bumping it), but the thread is closed, so I'm proposing the new question here:
When a situation like that happens, and you need / want more infos, is correct to let the thread die (aka waiting 6 weeks), then posting a new thread on the same subject? I know it's fine to start a new topic on the argument (eventually linking to the old thread), but it's OK even if you were the OP of the old thread, and you simply hope in something new regarding the same subject?

Sheriff of Moddingham: Yes, all the same rules apply as noted in that thread. And yes, once the thread has fallen beyond the thread necromancy threshold of six weeks, you can start a new one. Just don't make a habit of it or approaches being spammy.
