Healing Blast and Hellfire Blast?

I cannot remember if you can apply essences to hellfire blast, but I know you can apply blast shapes...

I was wondering if you could change a hellfire blast into a healing blast with the eldritch disciple ability. I have not played in a while, so I am a bit iffy on the rules. I read some else' guide that you could, but I was just wondering what anyone here thought.

Hellfire Blast is neither an essence nor a shape, so a Healing Hellfire Blast is indeed quite ok. The Hellfire Ur-Lock gives it two thumbs up!

An Eldritch Disciple/Hellfire Warlock whose divine casting class is Ur-Priest.

They can get 9th level spells and they're hellfire warlocks. Need I say more?
