How do I apply meta magics to wands again? I know it can be done but how? I thought there was an item.

Artificer has a class ability and an infusion that do this. I don't remember either having a level cap. I believe both class feature and infusion are in the Eberron Campaign Setting.

The Metamagic Spell Trigger feat from Complete Mage also does this with a level 9 spell cap.

Incantatrix also gets it, and probably a few other classes as well.

complete mage: metamagic spell trigger feat. UMD or spellcraft 15 ranks prereq.

apply any metamagic feat you have to any charged magic item using extra charges instead of higher spell slots

Hellfire Warlock can do this as well, but only with a subset of the MM feats.

Do you have a link to Hellfire Warlock, random question but i have never looked into this build and I have a player thinking about it. My group is usually good with getting shot down (or compromising it's available power by building down alittle) if a build is obviously too optimized for the party, so checking it out before hand could be a good thing.

Complete Mage has the Metamagic Wandgrip.

Also known as the "Eberron Pistolgrip".

Because in Eberron, wands are guns. :smalltongue:
