This is just my attempt at making a justified version of the money spider trope (I spend way too much time on tvtropes...), and was, frankly, bored at the time.

The Ovisigath is a small, scuttling creature native to the warm deserts of the world. They are fond of valuable items and will steal them from travellers who pass through their domain. Resembling a polished sphere of obsidian with a large eye above a broad, grinning mouth full of sharp teeth, it scuttles about on ten four-jointed legs.

COMBAT
An ovisigath is intelligent enough to form and enact simple plans, and prefers to avoid conflict, instead waiting until its targets are asleep. They use their expeditious retreat and invisibility spell-like abilities to quickly sneak into a campsite. If confronted, they use their flare spell-like ability to dazzle their foe(s)

Flare (Sp): Three times per day an Ovisigath can cause a burst of light as the flare spell. It most often uses this ability if startled or caught in the act of stealing. (Caster level 1st)

Invisibility (Sp): Twice per day, an Ovisigath can turn itself invisible, as per the invisibility spell (Caster level 1st)

Expeditious Retreat (Sp): Twice per day, an Ovisigath can increase its base land speed by 30 feet, as per the expeditious retreat spell (Caster level 1st)

Locate Object (Sp): Each Ovisigath prefers one type of valuable. This spell-like ability functions as the locate object spell (Caster level 1st), except as the follows: It is always active, and is permeantly attuned to the Ovisigath's prefered type of valuable. An Ovisigath's treasure consists solely of its prefered type of valuable. To determine an Ovisigath's favoured type of treasure/valuable, roll on the table below:

1d20 |Treasure/Valuable
1–10 |Gem
11-13|Art Object
14–18|Coins
19–20|Magic Item

Skills: An Ovisigath has a +4 racial bonus on Listen and Spot checks.

Any feedback?

I would think, to really be a money spider, it would have to store its valuable inside of its body and then burst open when killed.

Initiative should be +8 not +4. +4 for Dex and +4 for Improved Initiative Feat.

Melee attacks are BAB + Str modifier + size modifier. Only 1 natural attack is primary and the others are secondary. Secondary attacks are at a -5 penalty unless a creature has Multiattack feat, which drops the penalty to -2. As it is Small in size, it only has 1 slam attack. It has to be Large to gain a second slam attack. Sometimes you'll see 2 slams listed for creatures that are smaller but generally they are in error or there is an exception for some reason.

Also, even if you use a secondary attack as a primary attack, it still has the -5 penalty. Damage is -1 as it has a Strength penalty for Str 8. Only a creature's primary attack is listed in the attack line.

A creature normally has either a Slam or Claw but not both. 2 claws are better than 1 slam. However, since you gave it the 3 separate attacks, I'll work it out better for you. Bite is its primary weapon so here's how it should look.

How many appendages can it attack with? You state it has 10 legs. Does it attack with its legs or does it have arms too? What does it slam with and what does it claw with? Are these separate appendages or the same ones? If it only attacks with its legs then it should have a Kick attack rather then the claws and slam. It probably needs half its legs for standing and moving so it could make 5 kick attacks if you wanted instead of the claw and slam.

Attack: Bite + 3 melee (1d4-1)
Full Attack: Bite + 3 melee (1d4-1) and 2 claws -2 melee (1d3-1) and Slam -2 melee (1d3-1)

The damage is still at -1 for the Strength penalty, which is why the damage should be 1d4-1 and 1d3-1.

Claw is a secondary attack. Not sure why it only has one claw but even so, it has a -5 penalty to attack with it. Normally creatures attack with 2 claws OR one Slam.

Creatures do not have two primary attacks unless it is the same attack. Secondary attacks are always -5 to attack even if used as a primary weapon. If it has the multiattack feat, the attack drops to -2 and improved multiattack feat removes the penalty. Either give it the feats or drop the melee attack -5.

Full Attack: Bite +1 melee (1d4-1) and 1 claw -4 melee (1d3-1)
