Popeye: Robert Downy Jr.
Olive Oyl: Angelina Jolie
Wimpy: Danny DeVito
Bluto: Gerard Butler

Man, I must really be tired!

Surely there must be better things to do at 2:20 a.m. than casting a live-action Popeye remake. Have you ever considered smoking crack or committing robberies? Put that energy to productive use, young man! :smalltongue:

(In all seriousness, why in the Maker's name would we want to waste Robert Downey Jr. and Angelina Jolie on a bloody Popeye movie?)

Why Robert Downey? He doesn't even remotely look like Popeye, and I can't really see him acting that way either.

Did I mention I was sleep deprived when I put together this? Also, I wanted Gerard Butler as him but then realized he'd make a better Bluto.

I wish South Park was on at this time. It's better than the stuff on Comedy Central or Adult Swim at that time.

Even if it's not! The only problem would be the pop-eye, though. Plus, Popeye is a short guy.

Maybe Dennis Rogers.

Patrick Warburton as Popeye. The rest of the cast is inconsequential. As long as Patrick Warburton is there, the movie has to be good.
