[This is an Elven race, Mostly checking to see if it's not overpowered or anything. Also making sure all is in order]

Ara’Tel, “Feyborn Elf” or more colloquially "Autumn Elves"
~ The Elves of the Autumn Leaves ~

Lore/Backstory:

In Elven it is Ara’Tel, in Common they are called Feyborn Elves. They are also colloquially called the Autumn Elves for their hair colors. Most known for their light porcelain skin color and their bright and garish colored hair. As a people, they bare hair colors akin to those of autumn leaves, bright and rusty reds, yellows, oranges, browns, their hair is like the foliage of a fall forest. Physically they somewhat of a link between the graceful and magical High Elves and the more primal and naturalistic Wild Elves.

Both Arcane and Divine magic are well practiced by these people, however much magic lore is innate, and many are born with spellwaeving coursing through their blood. The Feyborn Elves keep no vast libraries like those of their High Elven kin, though impressive collections abound in far larger numbers then the savage Wild Elves. Feyborn however are prone to dressing in the clothing more akin a woodlands or wild elf, sometime wearing furs and leather, and oddly colored kilts, vests and other peculiar gypsy like regalia. Also common is the wearing of fur cloaks.

Their communities are often blended into hidden forests, and usually well guarded by various enchantments and conjurations from the fey realm. Nature spirits and arcane constructs ward their small clustered communities from harm and from the dangers of the outside world. Culturally they have high opinions of themselves compared to other Elves. While they acknowledge the Fey origins of all elves they exclusively call themselves the “Feyborn”, seeing themselves as individual founts of magic that stems directly from the Feywild realm. To some extent this is true, many are Sorcerers, and others have magic akin to that of a fey pact warlock at birth.

As a race they harbor a burning hatred for the Drow, the children of Lolth and the Deity Lolth are unholy abominations in the eyes of the Ara’Tel. This belief was amplified after a battle between the two left the glorious forest of Salem, and the city of the same name, a cursed wreck and a significant number of Ara’Tel dead. The Drow assault was pushed back but at great cost, the evil magic of the Drow and the vast necrotic magic corrupted the city and rendered it largely uninhabitable. The Elder Magi of the city conjured a great forest that consumed the city beneath its roots, leaving Salem Woods forever buried. The trees absorbed the dark magic of the Drow, leaving the forest petrified and largely lifeless. However even cleansed by the roots of great trees, the buried city of Salem remains a haven for dark beings and evil creatures. The Feyborn despise any Drow to this day, having only mercy on a few who reject the Lolth.

Currently the Feyborn dwell in several smaller lands, some scattered far from Salem Woods and the cursed stone limb forest conjured to restrain the evil brought by the children of Lolth. It is a goal of most Feyborn Elves to reclaim the city and vanquish the evil afflicting it and the surrounding forest. With three quarters of Salem Woods now a petrified ghost land, only a small portion of their original home forest is habitable. Finally many Ara’Tel will actively crusade to hunt down and kill Drow.
