That could save someones ass so much hahaha! An instant Wall of Force or time stop would make anyone really powerful.

Is there a Variant or anything like this inthe Complete Arcane? Or perhaps Epic Feats?

Contingency is the only thing I can think of like this. Just have them each keyed to go off when you say a certain word or phrase. Talking is a free action, just make sure you don't define it as a command word.

Alternatively, have them set to likely situations, such as a Wall of Force set to go off when someone charges you.

It'd probably be broken, for exactly the reasons you want it (and all existing powers that let you use arbitrary spells with Immediate speed are kinda overpowered if used intelligently, too.) Using something as an immediate action can dramatically change its effect in unpredictable ways.

I think the OP wanted to use this to break the action economy, as the feat would by definition.

Probably not exactly what you were looking for but in Player's Handbook II, there is a spell called Celetiry. This spells casting time is an immediate action and in return will give the player another standard action in which you could cast another spell such as Force Wall. This is a 4th level spell and the downside to this is that you are dazed at the end of your turn. There are three versions of this spell.

Lesser - Grants Move Action - 2nd Lvl
Normal - Grants Standard Action - 4th Lvl
Greater - Grants Full Round Action - 8th Lvl

Hope that helps

Craft Contingent Spell is probably one of the most absurdly broken spellcaster feats in existence, but certainly gets the job done. Unlike the spell named Contingency, which allows only one spell of up to 6th level, you can keep up to your HD in crafted contingencies of any spell the crafter could cast. I specify the crafter because you can make them for other people and buy them as a service in towns.

Maybe this isn't what you want because it doesn't cost you an immediate action, though. :smallwink:

Anima Mage 10 gets this once per day (it's also silent and stilled). Celerity is a spell that has this effect too.

Hmm... How about multiple crafted contingent Celerities? That kills the action economy into tiny pieces.

Dicefreaks came up with it once. Think the slot adjustment was +6?
