View Full Version : New to E6, build + DM advice

I'm considering running an E6 campaign for my IRL group.

I would like advice on two topics:

1) We generally run a DMPC and occasionally switch dm's if someone can't make it. Thus i'd like to fill "the boring role" or keep my character out of the spotlight... What are the issues that people run into with party composition in E6? Are casters still the bombs? Do skillmonkeys shine more? Seems like tanking may be more possible? Do healing clerics make sense? Better to multiclass, or all one class?

We've never played this variant, so I expect some irrational desicions. I only have 1 true power-gamer who will want a flying uber-charger with full casting E6 character.

2) I would like to know the group's thoughts on how to run these games. We change style from narrative/role play to action quickly and smoothly, and the players tend to dwell on morality often.

Any thoughts on fun enemies/situations to throw at them?
