What are the features for it?

This link (http://dnd-wiki.org/wiki/Product_of_Infernal_Dalliance_%283.5e_Feat%29), which I think is where the Fiend Filio word per word, has it as an option. I can't find said option on-line. However, I found the other 3 options on the Wizards of the Coast website: here (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/glossary&term=Glossary_dnd_tanarrisubtype&alpha=), here (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/glossary&term=Glossary_dnd_baatezusubtype&alpha=), and here (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/glossary&term=Glossary_dnd_yugolothsubtype&alpha=).

Demodand is not a subtype in 3.5, and neither are baatezu, tanar'ri, or yugoloth. Demodands are a group of fiends from Carceri with a set of shared traits (Freedom of Movement, Poison Immunity, and basic Outsider traits), nothing more.

Except that baatezu, tanar'ri and yugoloth are subtypes. The yugoloth subtype is listed on page 223 of MMIII for instance.

However, these subtypes are not listed online due to copyright and all.

Baatezu, tanar'ri and yugoloth are subtypes in 3.5. They're listed as such in the Monster Manual-books. They are however not part of the d20-srd, because they're intellectual property of WotC, like Mind Flayers and Beholders.

Demodand however is indeed not a subtype, just a group name. That's probably because they're not relevant in the eyes of WotC. The demodands are also not locked into an alignment like the yugoloths, who are considered the epitome of neutral evil.

Didn't recall them as subtypes. Fair enough though. I'm tired today, obviously.

Demodand continues to not be in their number though. :smalltongue:

Notice on this page (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/rg/20060711a) that this line: "Every creature has one -- and only one -- type." clearly states each creature only gets 1 type and notice in the initial link that the feat has you add a sub-type but not change types. Hence, you don't change to Outsider type from that feat.

Yes, we know all that. See, the issue is that there is no Demodand subtype. It does not exist, Error 404, File Not Found, etcetcetc. Can't give you something that doesn't exist, man. :smallwink:

Now, if you want to make a demodand subtype, it would probably include freedom of movement and poison immunity, the shared traits of demodands, but that's quite firmly in the realm of homebrew, just like that feat you linked in the OP is (where it says it was made by Frank and K, that means it's not Wizards official material).

That feat is from Frank and K's Tome of Fiends (http://turing.bard.edu/~mk561/frank_k_0.5.1.pdf). It's part of a big book of homebrew for building fiendish characters.

As far as I can tell Tome of Fiends doesn't give any bonuses for having the subtype. You're vulnerable to gehreleth bane weapons and you can hang out at gehreleth bars without getting hassled.

Gehreleths don't really like anyone, though :smalltongue:
