well according to Tineye, the second one exists in two places on the Internet, photobucket and a japanese equivalent.

the first one, as the "dshong" watermark would have indicated if it were not cut off by the demotvator frame :smallyuk: seems to be from the sketchbook of dshong (http://davidsketch.blogspot.com/).
whatever that is.

I mean, I know where I got, I just don't know where it's from.

Once upon a time, there was a poster of a young man fanning out cash in his hand. You could see one end of a $5 bill, one end of a $10 bill, and two $1 bills. He was also making a weird sign with his hand, like a gangster sign. The caption read "17 Dollars - Now that's gangsta". For whatever reason (some kind of misperception, most likely), someone poster'd that poster with the new caption "22 Dollars - You idiot" (or something to that effect). THAT poster was then poster'd with "17 Dollars - Duh" (or something to that effect). This kept being chained until the original image was not even vaguely visible. At times, the caption was not even related to the original image, but rather mere ad hominems or points addressing things said in earlier posters. This took on a small amount of infamy.

Thus, whenever a poster chain starts getting long, it's fun to remember "17 Dollars".

Yes, but casting Nightmare doesn't let you dress up like the Burger King (or have one of your followers do it) and see the look on the person's face when you do it.

The reference is harder to get it you didn't watch the show. Wizardmon lost in a straight up fight with the bad guy but it seemed like he had a solution to every problem that showed up. Someone's petrified "no problem I have an anti petrification spell", we need to hurry "I can teleport faster that any of you can move", there's a river in the way "I can fly", etc..

Why would he fly across the river if he can teleport across it? :smallconfused:

I think flight was basically something he could do at will, not so much a spell. But its been years since I saw the show. So why waste a spell to teleport when he could just float his way on over?

ScionoftheVoid

Why would he fly across the river if he can teleport across it? :smallconfused:

Because why would you waste pp on Psionic Dimension Door if you'll get there just fine with the Psionic Flight you already have up? He's already got flight up for combat, so he may as well use it unless he needs to be somewhere right now.

Also, because flight (with a cape, no less) looks more badass so long as the situation isn't urgent (not getting there in time can be badass but generally earns negative points).

OBJECTION!!!
Dragons are able to breathe fire or use other magical abilities, have unusual size, wings or ability to fly, unique qualities between subspecies, highly dangerous for there variety of abilities, are long lived if not functionally immortal, and if they have a tail is can carry a stinger or any other tip.

A Wyvern is considered as such if is has no front legs, has a barbed tip tail, no ability to breathe fire or other powerful magical abilities(Mundane are still available), they must also have wings to replace there frontal limbs, along with relative to there draconian brethren no intelligence.

As such Dragons and Wyvern fall into the same family and without magic can breed but are considered two different species.

Rosebud was his sled, Trinity dies, Vader is Luke's father, the Spartans all die, Gandalf comes back, Hamlet dies, and so on and so on.

That enough spoiling for you?

The joke's on you!

I don't even know where Rosebud the sled is from! *evil cackle*

But seriously though, since you haven't actually divulged why they are TECHNICALLY the same person, I am just going to watch Fate/Stay now until I figure it out. I'll get back to you later.

See, that would make it an inside joke. I can't say we care much for it.

I'm not sure if this is saying "Go ahead, but I'm doing Vriska and Aradia," or if it's saying "I was going to do Virska and Aradia, but not anymore."

Homestuck spoilers, kinda.

Well, I think by this point they're more UNSPOILERS, but whatever.

Also, nice Tenacious D reference, GoblinArchmage.

Allow me to make the crass faux pas of explaining the joke:

1) "Yo dawg I herd you liek dreams, so we put a dream in your dream so you can dream while you dream."
2) "Yo dawg I herd you liek posters, so we put a poster in your poster so you can put posters in posters while you put posters in posters."
3) "Guess what I just did? That's right. I took 2) and put it in a poster. Oh yeah."

Explaining a joke is a lot like dissecting a frog. You understand it better, but the frog dies in the process.

The sacrifices we make for SCIENCE!

Sometimes, for the greater understanding of the world, you have to kill some jokes. Or frogs. Or people. Or frog-people.

Regardless of any "inside joke" nature, I thought it was funny anyway since Lolth is definitely a very evil god, but playing on LOLth with the big smile, it made me chuckle.

Exactly my point and I shall return with more motivators soon.

Since Gandalf's an Istaari, I imagine his magic is divine, not arcane. In fact, I don't think he actually has any Wizard levels. People just call him that because of the staff (His holy symbol). And did you see him Turn those Nazgul? So Divine Power would be far more plausible than Tenser's Transformation.

Edit: Apologies if I'm horribly incorrect. I do not claim to be a LotR expert.

"When you understand the irony of this poster" has two meanings, if you're a pun-liking person. Irony is a disrepancy between what is said, and what is meant...

I'm not sure if "irony of this poster" in that context is ironic or not. If it is, it IS brilliant irony, both in the post and in the poster. Which means he put irony in his irony...

But it all hinges on whether it's punny or ironic, and I think it might just be a fun, which means this was a big waste of time. So, squirrels. found elsewhere.

When would that have been? I can't recall him using energy-based evocation at all.

Oh, I think you may have been thinking of Saruman when he called down the lightning to bring the mountain down on our intrepid band of adventurers. He Called some Lightning (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/callLightning.htm). Not Cleric, but still Divine at least.

Still doable as a Cleric, though, with the right Domains.
