Question can you explain what your feats do? and Mirror image and abrupt Jaunt, really? This is going to be interesting, now question does abrupt Jaunt save you from ranged spells? No right, I don't recall. One more thing, is your spell list free information? I don't see it on your sheet.

buying 10 unloaded slings and loading them with rocks.

Starting in M-2 Halberd on back, holding all 20 loaded slings in off hand,.

Yeah, no problem.

Sculpt Spell: +1 Metamagc that allows me to shape spells in ways other then standard. I could shoot a Fireball as a cone, for instance.
Precocious Apprentice: Allows me to have a single level 2 spell slot, and to know one spell of 2nd level to cast out of it. Requires a CL check to work. Upon actually gaining 2nd level spells, it simply gives a bonus level 2 slot. Also, +2 to Spellcraft, I think.
Metamagic School Focus (Conjuration): 3/day, lower cost of applying metamagic to a spell of the chosen school by one. This can lower costs to +0.
Martial Study (Wind Stride): 1/encounter, able to use Wind Stride, the Desert Wind boost. More importiantly (to me), adds the key skill of the discipline your maneuver is in to your list.

And hey, I have 5 HP and no Rageclaws, so yes, Mirror Image and Abrupt Jaunt. :smalltongue:

My spells prepared on the day are listed in my spoiler in my last post. I'd prefer it stay hidden info so that you gain no undue advantages.

Abrupt Jaunt does not save me from ranged attacks, per se, but I may 'port out of range or behind cover or somehow make the attack otherwise invalid.

Move to R19. Ready action: Lesser Orb of Acid upon both gaining LoS (with no concealment) and opponent being in range.

End turn.

Ah ok, and no I didn't mean spells prepared I meant spells known, as a wizard only knows a certain number of spells. but your right I don't think its going to help, :smalltongue:

Alright here goes nothing.

LOS established (line just barely clears the corners) as Ka-ugh enters P-8 carrying a sling in one hand and 19 loaded in the offhand you see corretha in R19 scythe in hand

corretha
due to concealment your readied doesn't trigger

ka-ugh may revise from here.

ummm am I reading obscuring mist wrong?
I thought it blocked LoS beyond 5 ft?

The vapor obscures all sight, including darkvision, beyond 5 feet. A creature 5 feet away has concealment (attacks have a 20% miss chance). Creatures farther away have total concealment (50% miss chance, and the attacker cannot use sight to locate the target).

I've always interpreted that as for people in the mist, if your on the edge of the mist they can see 5 feet in with the 20% concealment. And that's what I had thought id seen in other matches. If im wrong I appologize.

Sallera

There is a small window between the two squares that does not pass through the mist, so the LoS check is correct.

Ok, so are there any other places in which there is no mist?

end movement there

Ready an action -

Not quite sure what you mean there. Rephrase your question?

I was wondering if there are any other areas of fog that when you move threw provide LOS. See i am trying to stay hidden and kill him from within the clouds

Sallera
2011-06-06, 02:23 PM
Ka-ugh:No, that's not what I meant. Just being in a cloud square doesn't give you total concealment, only simple concealment - there needs to be a full square of mist (>= 5ft, as per the spell description) between you and your opponent to have total concealment, and in this case, there is a line between your square and your opponent's that does not pass through the clouds, so you only have simple concealment.

Also, please include stat blocks in your turn posts. I really shouldn't have to say this every time.
