Question about the publication dates

First off: please do not post gripes about; reprinting schedules, updates, or anything else that might make one of the mods lock this thread.

To any of the readers who have been here since the beginning;
I know that "The Giant" decided to start the strip in Sep 2003 (intro to DCF), but does anyone know the exact day the first strip was posted?

I have been lucky in that I was able to get all the books either through "My Local Comic Shop" or from Ookoodook directly. But several of my books are not 1st printing. If any you out there do have the first print could you let me know when the date was for Start of Darkness and On the Origin of PCs.

The first strip was published September 29, 2003 (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7333).

As for the publication dates for the prequel books, I don't know that there were fixed dates - I don't think GitP has ever enforced embargoes on comic shops, they just ship when they ship. Origins (http://www.giantitp.com/index5.html) was first seen in the form of 1000 advance copies at GenCon 2005, with internet orders being placed and shipped in October. SoD was shipped in late June, 2007 (http://www.giantitp.com/index2.html).
