so, now that I've made the wonderous discovery that the living construct traits are in the back of MMIII

I've been making alot of warforged characters lately.

and now I'm onto a duskblade.

and I can't help but wonder.

can a warforged with the adamantine body feat still cast okay as a duskblade?

I mean, it's natural armor... soooo

yea

help?

It's essentially armor for all intents and purposes. Not really natural armor, so much as armor that is always there. So adamantine body being heavy armor would still hamper a duskblade with the spell failure chance of 35% IIRC, barring other ways for him to cast in heavy armor. Mithral body would still work with duskblade and avoid ASF though.

Adamantine Body

...and you are considered to be wearing heavy armor.

So yes, it would interfere with your casting. You could take the Battle Caster feat, though, to make it work.
