So, I'm looking to build an Epic Gestalt Wizard/Psion, Lich/Demilich
Question is, whats the best races and OTHER templates to apply to this guy to boost his INT through the roof? My brother is being a Great Wyrm White Dragon, with other classes, and We'll be slaying Gods together :xykon:

My Character will probably also be taking levels of Cerebremancer and Ur-Priest, to keep Psionic and Wizard progression whilst gaining divine spells.

Are you getting free LA, or does it get taken off of one or both sides?

LA is being taken off one side, so I'll be gaining a HD each level, as will my brother.

Primordial half-giant gives you +4 int and cha with a meager 1 LA. Primoridal is a template from Secrets of Xendrik

Grey Elves get -2 Str -2 Con +2 Dex +2 Int, and are great for caster-classes that want to boost that Int up high. Alternatively, Fire Elves trade the Str penalty for a Cha penalty.

Any other Templates anyone can think of that would boost Int/Cha?

Cha because, well... I plan to be spellstitched and evolved undead, which benifit from Cha for DC's :P

There's an elf subrace that grants +2 int. If you don't mind an additional -2 str, then it might be perfect as it has an LA of +0.

Primordial Giant adds to both Int & Cha, as I recall. It drops Str alot, but you don't care about that.

Spellwarped Creature and Voidmind are both template from MM3

Hefty LA, but they come with some decent special abilities.

Monstrous Hobgoblins from MM5 may be of interest. Monstrous humanoid base with Wizard casting, some special abilities and fairly impressive attributes. Gestalt can make them work pretty well. Hobgoblin warsoul has a -2 to strength, +10 intelligence and hefty boni to everything else.

Phaerimm are FR material, but come with racial sorcerer casting.

Then there is your venerable dragonwrought kobold cheese.

There is a Symbiotic template from savage species than can lend itself to some abuse. Flayerspawn inside a Woodling Half Ogre immediately comes to mind, though I am sure there is a far more optimized combo.

Venerable Dragonwrought Kobold with the Riddled psychosis. It gives you a total of +9 INT.

Also, Phaerimm are good when double-stacking sorcerer casting. 9th level spells as a 9th level character? Yeah, I'm down with that. If you have a full 20-level build with full spellcasting progression, then you're already at an effective CL of 40.

And where do I find Venerable Dragonwrought Kobold? I know where Regular Dragonwrought it... but where's Venerable?

Venerable is an age category - details of it should be found in the Kobold section of Races of the Dragon, though it starts at 120 years of age, if I recall.

I knew that. Just didn't realize they got some extras for it.

They don't get extras; they just are immune to all negative effects of aging.

Less they get extras and more they don't get penalties. It's a total of minus six to each physical stat for mere mortals who reach venerable age, but Dragonwrought Kobolds, by virtue of being (True) Dragons, don't take aging penalties. I think they also qualify for the Riddled and Spellhoarding psychoses, which grant bonuses to Int or Cha, but I can't recall where to find those.

Then it is the psychoses I need to find!

They both give boosts to INT (Spellhoarding is +4 and turns Sorc casting to Wizard casting; Riddled is +6), but they also come with a total of -8 WIS if you apply both of them, IIRC.

And I'm not even sure that you can apply more than one psychosis template to a character.

Atop this there is also the Paragon character trait from Dungeon Masters Guide II; give +2 Int and a +4 to all Int based skills and checks. Not bad for wizards, archivists, and factotums.
Down side is the +2 LA.

If you want no LA (ie more caster lvls without insane kobold cheese), I would consider Vanara (ua), -2str +2int +2wis and a climb speed. Plus you get to be a monkey. And if you are going lich, you get to be an undead monkey. Come on, undead monkey, you know you want to.

Doesn't work. Vanara were updated to no ability penalties or bonuses for 3.5. Granted the update was in a Dragon, but without it they're just flat-out 3.0.

My group has no problem with straight 3.0, We're using the ELH as-is. So Varana? Where are they from...

And yes, I do want to be a zombie monkey.
