Failure to Communicate(need magic item advice)

Playing a Tibbit that spends most of its time in cat form. Already got my build locked in and such, just need a way to talk to my party without changing in and out of forms all the time. 8th level, and have 5000 gp unspent, though I could probably be convinced to change up my magic items to get some more gold for it. All sources, but I'd prefer magic item suggestions or just things I could buy in general. Don't need suggestions to rebuild.

You could have some fun with it and get someone else in the party to get a Medallion of Thoughts (12k, PHB) and serve as your interpreter. You'd probably have to give them at least 6k to help pay for it though.

Buy eight Pearls? Alternatively, use the stacking rules in the same book. A single pearl with 5 total languages would be 4200 gp.

I think if it's a slotless item it's 5 x 600 = 3,000 gp. Slotted items are more complicated and expensive.
