okay, I was helping my girlfriend create a warforged, and while flipping through the monster manual, came up one of my favorite creatures I've yet to use.
the Slaughterstone Behemoth (monster manual III)
my group will soon be coming to a dwarf hold. and in addition to the normal hammer behemoth.
I had this beautiful idea of having a behemoth 'variant' with a cannon imbedded in it's back.
and then my brain made the connection.
spell turrets!
preferably something like fireball or magic missle.
so.
thoughts?
suggestions?
is there a precedent for such an act?
and how much would this up the CR? (or lower it if you got rid of the hammer-slams?)
all potential ramifications go!
sorry for the scatterbrained post..... I'm excited about my idea and wanted to get it all out while it was fresh.
