SO I need ancient Greek themed quests for my nWoD Mage/werewolf adventure.

So far I have a small adventure where the heroes are looking for the daughter of Nike (personified deity of Victory) to help their village win an otherwise one sided war.

Well,

it's always fun to reenact some myths to see how it's done:

Be like Sisyphos: Trap Thanathos in your cellar and keep creation from dying (Powerfull Spirit of Death is trapped by a mage => Undead start appearing in a certain area. Group has to free him to balance life and death)

Be like Lykaon: Start to sacrifice and eat humans to gain the curse/favor of becoming a werewolf (Actually they are just skinchangers with a particular vile rite => Group has to stop the fake wolves)

Be like Hephaistos: Create a beautiful girl that destroys the land through plague, war and famine to punish humanity for the use of fire (Mad mage creates a promethean to hunt and kill his rivals. The promethean starts to gain more and more pyros and gets out of control => Group has to find her and her as well as all the little pandorans that start to terrorize the countryside)

Be like Heracles: Have the group slay a lot of dangerous beasts: the invulnerable Nemeian Lion, the regenerating Hydra, capture the three headed Cerberus and the golden antlered Ceryneian Hind, exterminate the Stymphalian Birds...
Essentially the nine tasks of Heracles.

Think of all the other myths, replace the heroes with your PCs, and use a supernatural antagonist instead of gods as creator of monsters. Think of a reason how the creator could gain power, wealth and pleasure by using those monsters.

Some ideas, they wont fit all if you want to keep it somewhat historicaly correct, but you have vampires and mages, so who cares? Because I am not up to speed with nWoD mythology you will have to check what fits with the setting.

Political sheming in various city states (look up the proto-democratic system in Athen, that story writes itself), can lead to outright war between Athen and Sparta. Overthrow the Thirty Tyrants, puppets of Sparta ruling over Athens.

Trial of Socrates. If the players dealt with the Thirty Tyrants, they should know him allready. You can have fun with him quite easily if you can play him right (when he was asked what his punishment for corrupting the young and being an annoyance by critisizing the mighty should be he proposed a wage and free meals for the rest of his life).

Invasion from outside: The party has to forge an alliance of different cities. Who invades depends on when exactly your story is set. Land and sea battles included.

Quest for some legendary treasure (Golden Fleece? the party can get mixed up with the Argonauts)

If they get in contact with the gods and have a good looking women in the party, beware of Zeus. And Hera if she gets suspious (with or without reason). More helpful gods are probably Athena and Hermes. Hades was actually pretty reasonable, but despised it if someone cheated death or tried to enter/escape his realm.

Travel into Hades realm.

Your city is founding a new colony. Find a Navigator, a ship and a crew. Scout for a usefull location, deal with the natives if there are any (War? Trade agreements would be the most profitably outcome). Lead the ships with the settlers there and help set it up.

Pirates.

Travel to Egypt. Everyone who travels through Alexandria and is in possesion of a text/map/whatever that the library doesn't have is forced to lend it to them for copying. The party has something that they can't risk getting into the wrong hands.

An expedition into the unknown. Pytheas (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pytheas) traveled into the polar regions, his reports of long nights might interest the Vampires. Otherwise read up on his expedition and send the players instead of him. Make Thule actually mystical.

A quest to one of the oracles.

Have them infiltrate a cult. If you need inspiration look up Mithraism (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mithraism). Somewhat secretive, their temples were always underground and getting initiated required tests. Great for roleplay. (Though not actually historicly correct, since Mithraism was mostly practiced in the 1st to 4th centuries in roman conquered parts of Europe but mostly ignored by the greek). Another thing to look into are the Eleusinian Mysteries (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eleusinian_Mysteries).

Travel to India.

Alexander the Great.

Troja.

Shirt of Nessus as a coursed item.

Slave rebellion in a random city.

If you know german or spanish try to get your hands on Gisbert Haefs' Troja, don't know if it was translated into other languages. One of best books to get ideas from. Read up on the Argonauts, Heracles and the Odyssey.

I suppose a lot would depend on what time period you are talking about. Greek history goes way back, so just saying "Ancient Greek theme" is a bit vague. Perhaps you could place the setting during the Mycenean period (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mycenaean_Greece) a lot of the myths supposedly took place during that period.

About Nike, a lot of sculptors would make statues of her with her wings cut off. Supposedly it was so that victory wouldn't fly away from the city. Something that you could use perhaps.

Is this mythic, historical, something else? And what (if any) historical period is the source of inspiration?

Have you checked out the Scion game/rules? It'd be easy to incorporate actual heroes/demigods/gods/what have you using those rules. Hell, the Greek pantheon's already in there. It's practically tailor-made for what you're looking for.
