Are the any deities that grant both of these domains? I am probably gonna have a Prestige Paladin dip as well so if they are within one step of lawfull good that would be perfect. Even if they aren't I wanna know about them! Do any exist? I know I could just be devoted to an ideal and take whatever domains I want but a big part of the character concept is being immune to a lot of stuff and having crazy will / fort saves so I am going to take a 1 level dip in Pious Templar for Mettle and that requires the True Believer feat which requires devotion to a single deity. If there is one that grants both domains I might redo my build though....I really want that bonus Extend Spell.

Kindness towards magic architecture.

I can see why you don't want to be a cleric of a cause...

I'm not quite sure I understand what you're saying here.

Good, I thought I was the only one. :smalltongue:

Oh, I thought that said architecture. Still, a nice magical person with lots of forethought seems a little odd as a cause.

Contemplative doesn't require True Believer. It requires contact with an agent of your diety or an alignment.

Because I could totally go for a character with Magic and Architecture as his domains. Go into Loremaster and cheesing up Knowledge: Architecture.

An adventuring Engineer!

Right you are. I've got a pile of PRCs in this build. I need true believer for Pious Templar (I loose 1 caster level but Mettle is perfect for the idea I have in mind). Aside from the mistake in the OP the same question still stands.

You thought what said Architecture? I am still confused haha.

Can't find any deities that have Magic & Planning on this list: http://home.comcast.net/~ftm3/JHtB/domains.html

...I also checked the Living Greyhawk Deities List, but unfortunately it does not include the Planning domain at all.

Also just checked Sean K Reynolds Greyhawk Deities Expanded Domain List, and no luck there either: http://www.seankreynolds.com/rpgfiles/we/greyhawkdeities.html

Maybe ask your DM if he could homebrew a god that has both domains?

You can be a cleric of a thought or cause or philosophy... I'm sure they get 2 domains also.

Complete Warrior recommends adding Planning to Wee Jas's list of domains so I'll see if the DM goes for that.

That's an older list; I've assembled a more comprehensive set here:
http://home.comcast.net/~ftm3/ASMoNM/domains.html and then there's
http://home.comcast.net/~ftm3/ASMoNM/PlanarDomains.html.
