I have come to the startling realization that my six month old daughter is the size of a small halfling.

Compare.

Well. Lighter and a bit shorter, but getting close.

About three quarters of a halfling. A three-eightsling, if you will.

Infants? Nah.

Halflings have the size of toddlers. My 2 year old niece has the size of a halfling (a rather tall halfling, though). Not to mention the attitude of a kender; when you have your dice taken by a 2 yr. old toddler out of curiosity and returned with a smile when asked for, you figure out how a kender should be played. Except you also need to figure out human-level intellect mixed with that.

That mentioned, they are rather solid; crying only a bit when they fall and then gleefully forgetting and resuming their acts does entail some decent Constitution. Not very strong, though (something I can lift with one hand she can only lift with two, but gauge that to a 4-6 point difference in Strength :P).

I failed my Saving Throw vs. Cuteness ;)

Also, I am deeply shocked that she's not posing for the picture with D&D paraphernalia. What's the point of spawning children if you can't inflict your hobbies on them?

Aw, thanks a lot dude. Now I'll never be able to lust after cute halfling lasses without feeling dirty about myself :smallmad:

Well... dirtier than usual, at any pace.

This.. this almost makes me feel bad. I'd still hit it.

I'm not sure if this is going to help or hurt. Frankly, I'm hoping for hurt. :smallamused:

Tattoos: A good idea until you put one where the sun don't shine and you need to look at it with the party watching.

Lidda: I...I need some alone time with this rock, guys. Privacy, please?

You can lead a PC to a plot hook but you can't make him drink.

The eternal questions of parenting; Make them fat and depressed, or wed them off to creeps. Decisions, decisions!

Surely, delving the depths of the Emergency Room Dungeon would be offset by the potential gain! Think of the XP!

What does it say about me that I find the mage from the OP hotter?

Probably nothing bad. I've been puzzling over why she stopped at the rock just so she could pull her pants down. :smallconfused: I mean, there's technical hotness there, I suppose, but I'm wondering about her mental well being.

I'm inclined to agree with the general sentiment (the mage is preferable), but I wouldn't go as far as to call Lidda deformed. :smalltongue:

Lidda is not deformed, but I am willing to bet there's some art of her which is...Questionable. Given that 3.5 seems to vary from 'good' to 'whut' to 'WHY GOD WHY?'.

The image was chosen more for it's, erm, obviousness, as a counterpoint to the topic. Still, I like it more for the more dynamic angle, rather than the profile-face and front-on torso that to me looks as awkward as, say, ancient Egyptian art in the first one.

Lidda's comparing her tattoos to the markings on the rock. Note the one on her hip and the one just below the fish/rocketship shape on the rock.

I guess it's not as obvious as it seems, but she's comparing her tattoo to the statue as has been said. Here, I circled it for you.

Fantastically cute daughter you have there Fax!

Regarding Lidda - The thing that always stood out to me was why is she wearing modern skimpy underwear?

So she can better see her tattoos, obviously!
