The aboleths have been overthrown, their decaying putrescence washing up as so much discarded waste on uncaring shores.
This is the time of the Star-Spawn of Cthulhu (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/extras/collaborators/bestiary-conversion-queue/carrion-crown-part-4/star-spawn-of-cthulhu); monstrous, with piscine features overwhelmed with tendril masses and hideous polyps.
Their mutable desires possess a single constancy; bringing the myriad worlds to ruin, so that the Dark Tapestry may expand unto the mortal coil.

The Devils (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/bestiary/monster-listings/outsiders/devil) will have none of that; the multitude souls are theirs for damning, for dragging screaming into Perdition. The mortal coil and all other Realities will suffer under the choking yoke of absolute oppression.

Entrenched within abyssal oceanic fissures, the Star-Spawn have began seeping out of their holes to bring onslaught to the devils who challenge them.

Who will win?

Star-spawn for sure. If it was Demons, then it'd be a fair fight.

Whaddaya say, Ulgurshek vs Cthulhu?

Neither. The conflict in Baator awakens the Ancient Baatorians, who arise again and bring about the new age, binding all to their unbreakable will.

In terms of? Power; limitless hordes; capacity for evil, et al?

Is Ulgurshek a Draeden?

I've always been partial to the maleficarim; angelic countenances bent to cruel expressions, and who predate the creation of devils.
Assume that the ancient Baatorians do not enter this conflict.

Sheer power. There is essentially an infinite amount of Tanar'ri in the Abyss as every Chaotic Evil soul goes there to become a Mane and possibly progress further. The Obyriths are formed from the basic structure of the Abyss, though it doesn't seem like there are new ones coming up. Even the powerful demon lords are replaceable; it's happened since the beginning of time.

Also, in the sense of big scary things the Abyss has a lot of big guns that it can bring out, like Ulgurshek and the semi-sentient Abyss itself.

Is Ulgurshek a Draeden?

Yes. But for that matter, I think Cthulhu is damn similar.

Really, I don't think the Abyss has anything as scary as Asmodeus...

If the Tanar'ri really did possess infinite power then the Blood War (and the entire cosmos) would be over in an instant. The devils are a match for the demons by dint of superior tactics, organisation, and frequently individual strength. The Abyss is spatially infinite, yes - but that doesn't mean it's packed to the rafters with battle-ready Tanar'ri.

All sides concerned bring each other to near ruin, and then the modrons take action and bring eternal order to the multiverse, all obstacles finally being worn down enough for them to dominate.

Are Maleficarim official WotC content though?
