I need a base class with Knowledge, Perform, and 8 skill points.

The only thing I found in my books is the Akashic, and the DM doesn't allow third-party books. So, WOTC-published books or Dragon Magazine.

A Nymph Kissed Human Factotum would give a result similar to what you want.

Do you NEED 8? Factotum has 6 and is int-focused, you should have plenty of points from that.

There are many ways of getting skills in-class, and then you can just Rogue it up. Take a look at the Apprentice feats in DMGII, or a dip in Human Paragon plus Able Learner.

Which knowledge? I mean, rogues get Knowledge(local) and perform and 8+int.

Nymph-kissed human (mentioned above) rogues with 18 Int and open mind as their bonus feat get (6 +4 +1 +1) x4 +5 = 53 skill points at first level, which should be enough for cross-classing some skills. Flaw in Able Learner and another Open mind for 58 skill points and skills like a factotum. That ought to do it.

Why do you want knowledge and perform, anyway?

Edit: Whoops, quoted the wrong person. Fixed.

A rogue would pull that off if you spent one feat to make Knowledge a class skill...

Rogue with Educated (FRCS/ECS) would fit. Rogue's get Perform, 8 skill points, and Educated makes all knowledge skills class skills.
