Genesis? Where?

Question: Where beyond in the SRD does the spell Genesis come from? Im trying to explain to my DM that it exists but hes of the stubborn mind that if it wasnt printed in a book somewhere, it isnt legal.

Could someone point me where Genesis was printed, if it was printed? or explain to him that the SRD is infact legal?

The SRD only has material that was printed in official 3.5 books, and is completely legal (in both senses of the word).

Oh I agree with you but I play with someone who doesnt do research himself and asks us to "Show our work" basically if we cant prove its in a book we cant use it 'mentality' which in part is sad.

Deities and Demigods is actually 3.0.

But the technicality is it was Grandfathered in correct?

Anything unupdated is. There is the caveat that it might require 'tweaking' by the DM.

Wasn't Genesis reprinted in either the Spell Compendium or Complete Divine? Either way I remember it as a 9th lvl Cleric domain spell.
