Vampirism Spell

Does anyone know if there is a spell that allows the vampire template to be applied to a creature, as a sort of alternate to getting turned by another vampire?

Though I seem to remember a ritual from somewhere to turn a person into a vampire... It's lingering in the back of my head but I don't remember from where.
