I've been working on some homebrew rules for a new campaign I'm going to be running later this summer. I want to print it up as a mini-book for my players. I thought it would be fun if I could get it to look like an "official" publication. (Obviously, my players will know that I've written it, because it will be campign rules, such as "the Celerity line of spells does not exist").

Does anyone have thoughts about how I could print off pages that look reminiscent of the 3.x books? What font should I use to approximate "D&D" font? Do you have other suggestions?

Thanks, ShriekingDrake

If you can get a PDF of any of the 3.5 books, they usually have an empty page somewhere in the front, with the "parchment" background on it.

I'll have to look. I've never noticed any of those pages before. Thanks.

The body typeface is Celestia Antiqua Medium. However, you can't buy it. The available alternative, Celestia Antiqua Regular, has corroded edges, though you can't see them at text sizes.

So, is this document correct?

Also, Ive never seen a pdf with the background used for books, only the one used for things like free online adventures and stuff.
