As noted in an earlier thread, I have a player playing a witch in my 3.5 game. PF dosen't seem to list skill points at first level, but skill points per level.

So in this case 2+int mod per level. Her int mod is 3 so does she actually only start with 5 skill points? Or should I let her go the 3.5 way and do x4 at first level?

Thanks : )

I think PF rules state that you get a +3 bonus for the first point u put in a class skill. Im not 100% sure though..

That is how they do it, I would also add a few skill points to PF classes to account for the skills they consolidatied.

So I should just go the PF route? Give her 5 skill points and a +3 for all of her class skills?

Either that, or quadruple at first level. Quadruple is the D&D standard, while +3 is the Pathfinder standard. It usually should come out about equal, really, unless she goes spreading them around a lot in the Pathfinder method at later levels.

Yeah I think i'm just gonna go with the 2+int x4

Ya just multiply by 4 on first level to convert skills.

Note that PF classes have minor add-ons compared to 3.5 classes, though probably not strong enough to worry about.
