What PrCs can I give my wizard so he gets full casting but non-stupid class features? Familiar upgrades and a couple bonus feats...oooohhh.

Archmage is a pretty solid choice for improving spells, you get high arcana which are specialised feats every level. Doesn't do anything for your familiar though.

Look Here (http://brilliantgameologists.com/boards/index.php?topic=394.msg8043#msg8043)

In addition to being an excellent resource it goes over PRCs

I don't even have a familiar. Mine died. So I don't really want any familiar improvements.

If you're going Elf Wizard, Ruathar gives a couple of fun class features, while maintaining full casting.

I believe the standard approach is to recommend Incantrix.

Yes, yes, I know, but seriously? Another banned school? I'm sure it's worth it in terms of raw power, but I would just not have enough fun if I had to give up another school.

Master Specialist? Loremaster? Paragnostic Apostle? Fatespinner (sans the last level)? Wayfarer Guide (one-level dip)?

(All the above have fairly easy entry requirements)

Initiate of the Sevenfold Veil?

Malconvoker/Thaumaturgist if you're into summoning? (Arcane Disciple is needed for the latter.)

I don't understand why Fatespinner is that good. Is the Spin Fate/Destiny class feature just the one that you take so you can get the second and fourth levels?
