Isn't there an aquatic crossbow in Stormwrack too, or was that exotic?

It's exotic. Kinda weird that an underwater martial weapon stays martial, but an underwater simple weapon becomes exotic. :smalltongue:

Should we mention weapons that can be counted as martial due to weapon familiarity?

So are we going to try and post/ copypaste most of the crystal-keep list on that?

EDIT: Ah sorry, you already do.

Actually, that's not a bad idea at all.

Not sure I quite follow your point?

Actually, that's not a bad idea at all.Well, thanks to CW, you get to swap your weapon familiarity to any weapon with your race's name in it.

These are the first ones to pop to my mind, but I'm sure there are plenty of others:

Dwarf:

Dwarven Waraxe
Dwarven Urgrosh
Dwarven Double Spear (RoS)
Dwarven Warpike (RoS)
Dwarven Buckler-Axe (RoS)

Gnome:

Gnome Hooked Hammer
Gnome Quickrazor (RoS)
Gnome Tortoise Blade (RoS)
Gnome Swordcatcher (RoS)

Valenar elf:

Valenar Double Scimitar (ECS)

Talenta halfling:

Talenta Sharrash (ECS)
Talenta Tangat (ECS)

Where's Kenku Blade? (2d6, 18-20, slashing, one handed, martial, finesse).

Yeah, while the old Crystalkeep lists were good, they weren't comprehensive. What book is the Kenku Blade from?

Oriental Adventures: the Complete Exotic Arms Guide, published back in 2004 to suplement OA.

Edit: now that I think about it, OA might be considered 3rd party.

No, Oriental Adventures (the original book) is by Wizards of the Coast. It's only later Rokugan books that are 3rd party: Alderac Entertainment. A similar situation exists with the Dragonlance setting: Dragonlance Campaign Setting is by Wizards of the Coast, but later Dragonlance books are by Margaret Weis Productions.

I'm sorry Thurbane, I've nearly completely invalidated your list.

I updated the OP with some weapons from the Cityscape Web Enhancement (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/we/20070314a).

When I get a chance, I'm going to start work on a section for various races that get to treat certain exotic weapons as martial (as per Greenish's suggestion),

If you're referring to the link to the old Crystalkeep file, there's actually quite a few weapons in my OP that aren't in there. The Crystalkeep files were a decent resource, but far from comprehensive - they also stopped updating before the end of 3.5s run, so material from the latter books isn't included at all.
