Non-casting base classes for prehistoric campaign

I am looking for good base classe for a campaign set in a prehistoric age, that is mostly wilderness with few civilization and industry, and with mostly tribal society and basic equipment like leather armor, spears, and axes.

Barbarian, Fighter, no-casting Ranger, and Rogue fit all very well, but that's a bit limited for characters who do not take the role of shaman or witch.
Non-core, Scout comes to my mind, but that's about it. Any suggestion what clases else to use?

Warblade, with Tiger Claw and one or two other, fitting schools, possibly homebrew?

Bard, using the Savage (illiterate) version would fit extremely well.

If all spell casting is out of the question consider empowering the bard songs accordingly.
