1. What is the best image uploader for avatars?

2. How do you erase the white space around a picture?

Sorry if this sounds stupid, but I've never really successfully accomplished these practices before. :smallredface:

1.) There are many uploaders, and the word for the best one will depend highly on the user. I, for example, use Photobucket.

2.) Find and use a program that allows you to save your image as a PNG. Or use a program such as photoshop or VTFedit that can transform white space into clear space. As long as it's uploaded as a PNG, there shouldn't be a problem with white space.
