So, our Druid used Baleful Polymorph to turn a War Troll into a squirrel. Said squirrel then runs through an anti-magic field...

We said, based on the wording of AMF, that the troll would return to his proper troll shape while within the area of the AMF, but that when he left it, back to squirrel shape.

Does that sound right?

Incidentally, the Druid now has a 150 HP squirrel in a box. :smallbiggrin: We'll find a use for it, best trap detector known to man! Of course, should we accidentally walk through a AMF, we may have an issue.

Yes. According to the wording on Anti-Magic Field, the "squirrel" would revert back to a troll while inside the area of effect of the anti-magic.

Permanent spells are not permanent, they just have infinite duration. They can be dispelled like any other magical effect.

Yup, but AMF doesn't dispel anything, it just supresses magical effects.

It's spells with durations of "Instantaneous" that wouldn't get supressed or dispelled by an AMF. So (iirc), if you manage to take a Wall of... Iron? into an AMF, it'll still be there.

You could always take it to the underground illegal squirrel-fights. Bet on it, make a ton of money.
