I was looking for hex terrain like Heroscape's, only taller, and less likely to tip over when I bump into them. All I found was Terrablox (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=203272), but they are square and don't exist. Is there any things like that, but for hexes? Something like Hexyle (http://glennmarshall.wordpress.com/2011/02/01/the-joy-of-hex/), only not online.

I don't know where you would find it offline, but maybe try heroscape. (http://www.hasbro.com/games/kid-games/heroscape/) Thats what works for me.

Well, Heroscape would definitely be similar to Heroscape...

Not to ignore part of your post or anything, but one of the 'sets' that Heroscape comes in is a castle set that is essentially made out of tall walls. If you need something 'tall' that may work, but if there's more of a reason that you want to avoid Heroscape that's fine.

Also, plugging my own heroscape thread:

Well, the main problem with that set is the lack of ability to go sideways. The set's still pretty cool, though. Also, cost's a bit of a cramper, it looks like it'd be pretty hard to get enough to build a dungeon.

Wow, I really shouldn't post before I take my allergy medicine. Back on topic, would this (http://www.fatdragongames.com/fdgfiles/fantasy/3d-paper-terrain/miscellanous-fantasy/hex-master-set-1-fdg0073) work? It goes along with heroscape, but some of the other stuff (http://www.fatdragongames.com/fdgfiles/fantasy/3d-paper-terrain/e-z-dungeons/e-z-dungeons-caverns-of-chaos-fdg0068) on the site might help it stand alone.

Fair enough, but I will make one more comment.

The particular set I'm talking about is for sale at Amazon for around 13 dollars a pack, and with a few you would get pieces that can be anchored to the top of the 'walls'. In other words, you could build a circle out of the wall pieces, then lock platforms on top of it creating a solid 'top'.

I understand if it's not really something you're interested in but I wanted to make sure I gave you any and all information I could think of.

Just out of curiosity why do you want 'tall' pieces?

I didn't think of that...

And two reasons: 1: Less stacking time. 2: Less [pieces] to pick up when my elbows send things flying, which they tend to do.

EDIT: Oh, and thanks.

Those are pretty cool. Unfortunately, the latter uses squares. I'll probably use the former, though. Thanks!

EDIT: Don't let this stop people posting more options, though. I'm all ears.

LOL'd. I wonder if some people don't even read OP's, just the title.
