I'm looking for revised Shifter racial traits (3.5e, of course)

I really like the idea behind Eberron's shifters, or weretouched, but I don't like the racial traits as much. I was wondering if anyone has had this same problem and revised the shifters. I'm working on a revision too, but would like to see your ideas.

Homebrew and even Pathfinder revisions are fine. I think shifting needs a boost, for one. Thanks for your help.

There are the Saurian Shifters, they get a Con bonus rather than Dex and shift to lizard based forms, other than that you will have to look in homebrew I think.
