Acquired Templates for Animal Companions (3.X)

I know that the Warbeast template is one you can add to an extant animal companion. Are there others worth adding?

Dark Template or Shadow Template are both decent

Just make sure you find out if your DM is the sort who makes your Animal Companion stop being your companion if any template changes its type from animal.
