I noticed this (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=115078) thread while searching for information about this, but I'm not sure this particular issue qualifies in the same way.

Specifically, people down in Gaming(Other)'s League of Legends thread (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=203298&page=38) are considering using dynamically generated signatures from the site LolStatistics.com (examples for my own account here (http://www.lolstatistics.com/signature/na/19417190)). These images have consistent pictures, but the displayed numerical statistics may vary, as their statistics are updated (statistics can be updated up to once every 15 minutes). Dogmantra brought up the point that as "dynamic" images, these are disallowed under board rules. The above thread notes that "images that change on refresh" are disallowed for potentially containing offensive content.

Since the images I'm discussing are static in non-numerical content, and should not contain potentially offensive content, is this a problem?

I would say yes, don't use dynamically generated images in sigs or avatars. I'll let Rawhide say otherwise if that turns out to be the case.
