[3.5] Paladin Spell Optimization [Help]

So I'm helping my buddy make a paladin, and he would like to utilize his spells. Problem is, I hardly know of any that are actually decent and with the feat Battle Blessing, there's gotta be a few in some obscure source somewhere :smallamused:

On a relative side note: Sword of the Arcane Order is awesome for a paladin. You guys have any spell suggestions for this feat as well that would prove useful to a paladin?

There's a plethora of neat one in the Spell Compendium. The Pacts and Knight's Move come to mind.

They can be found in the Spell Compendium and are included in the Pact domain, though are also Paladin spells.
