Hmmm.. I'm torn between 666 and 669.

Make it 669. I love how Roy thinks that in a world like our would be much less warfare...

Of these I like 666 best.

666, for the return of the 10gp bet, between Haley and Roy.

666, because no one realized the gigantic amount of foreshadowing involved everywhere in the strip. Seriously. (She won't.)

Where? I don't see any, except for the mention the Belkar will die.

Hmm, a little torn here, but in the end I think my vote has to go to 666. It was a pretty sweet moment with one panel of nice O-chulness.

#668. On a related note, I always hear this music (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GcbSyI5c5ws) whenever I read it.

Torn between 666, 667, and 670. Ultimately my vote has to go to #670.

The Sticks Awards 666-670

666 But Seriously, She Won't (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0666.html)
667 Mending Wounds (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0667.html)
668 Moving the Pieces (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0668.html)
669 Logical Conclusions (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0669.html)
670 The War Council (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0670.html)

All these strips are very nice, and full of background-info.
But I vote 670 "Team Peregrine"

670 Go team peregrine!

Kurald Galain

Not as epic as the last bunch. My vote goes to 670, for the little things like Elan's reaction to Haley, Haley's reaction to the word "initiative", O-Chul's "one saving throw at a time", and Team Peregrine.

They're all a little on the slow side, what with being denouement and all, but I'll throw my lot in on 666.

Anarion

670 taught me the word denouement, but I'm going to have to go with 666. I love the sunset panel and the interactions between Haley and Roy are great.

668. I can't really explain it but I just like the flow of the comic.

warmachine

They're mostly exposition than comedy. Nonetheless, #667 gets for Durkon's wisdom.

670. "One saving throw at a time."

Dakaran

I'm torn between the character development of 667 and O-Chul's awesome one-liner "One saving throw at a time" in 670. Ultimately I think I'll vote 667.

The sunset is made in a simple stick comic technique, but has a beauty I like. i Made me wish I had been there.

The ending is very good, and I like the reminder of O-Chul's badassitude.

The new voting round is only a few hours old, so I'll go ahead and post on this one. (By the way, this makes two straight voting rounds that fail to break 36 votes, and the winner here gets 10 votes. Rich, you've been gone too long. Is everything okay?)

I'm amazed that 666 came so close to the win (and I'm not entirely convinced it shouldn't have gotten a runoff), as it's pretty talkative without much going for it. It appears to be carried by two panels and two panels only: the mere presence of O-Chul (which apparently also pulled 670 ahead of the rest of the pack, including 668), and the museum crowd coming out for the penultimate panel. I'm guessing the same crowd coming out for O-Chul also came out for V's character development in 667 and pulled it even with 668.

672 has to be the unmitigated favorite of the current voting round, with its revelation of the planet-within-the-planet, among other things. The only other comics with a shot are 671, for the continuation of 670's planning and the last shot taken at Celia, and 675, for the general progression of gags on the fourth wall, Haley's new armor, and Elan's intelligence. 673 has a minor joke in it but not much else, and if there are a sizable number of voters like me, 674 just enrages them despite its importance to the rest of the book.

Well I voted for it neither because of the sunset nor because of O-Chul. You're completely missing the great character interaction between Haley and Roy, which perfectly shows their friendship. Particularly in the first and last row.
