My DM is starting up a Nautical themed DnD adventure based off of Stormwrack. I was hoping to build an effective Legendary Captain Prc but was lacking the base for it. From what I have gathered Sword Sage/Rogue or Swashbuckler/Rogue with the Daring Outlaw feat are two possible combinations to start it off. If anyone has heard of or played an effective Legendary Captain any information and help would be great.
Additional Information:
A 10k gold boat is being provided
Damaging Magic is not allowed (Buffing,Healing and Debuffing are allowed though)
Starting level: 6
Other Players: Soulknife, and two others who haven't chosen
Most races apart from PHB, and Stormwrack are not allowed
