Reading the spell and one thing confuses me: the size is 3 10 ft. cubes/level.

Does that mean each cube is 10 cubic ft (the cube root of 10 would leave each side a smidge over 2 ft long) or is it 1,000 cubic feet (i.e. a cube that is 10 feet long per side)?

The difference in the size of the mansion you could create would be substantial.

When it says 10 ft cubes, it means 1000 cubic feet, don't worry. :)

Thank you for the clarification. The wording has driven me nuts in trying to figure it out.

Feet are a linear unit of measurement- if it doesn't say "feet cubed", then the feet are still linear, and have to refer to a side.
