Can't Log On

Ok, this isn't something affecting me, but someone else. I'm posting for him since he (obviously) cannot do so himself..


A friend has been unable to log onto the GitP forums. Every time he tries to, his internet drops. He is able to log onto other places, but not here.

By "his internet drops" do you mean that his browser crashes, that he becomes unable to access giantitp.com, or that his internet connection terminates?

Resetting his password won't do much (unless he's entering the wrong one). I'd suggest clearing cookies and cache and then restarting the browser. It sounds cliche, but that really does solve a lot of browser-related issues.
