Forgotten Realms - Unther question

I remember reading some years ago about a location in the Forgotten Realms, but now I just can't find again where it was.

I'm very sure it was located in Unther, though it might also have been Chessenta. It was a ruin inside a large city that was like a crater or something filled with strange colored lights. I think it was some temple or palace that got destroyed in a battle, and I think tiamat was somehow involved, probably through a dragon in her service.

I looked through Lost Empires of Faerûn, and it's most certainly not there. Anyone remembering what that place was and where it is described?

Yes, I believe I know what you're thinking of. Gimme a few to track it down.

EDIT: Found what I think you're remembering. It is the Pit of Many Colors, pg. 102 of Champions of Ruin. The Pit is a location in Unthalass where chromatic dragons sacrifice treasure to Tiamat.
